Radio-Technisch Installatie-Bureau "Het Oosterpark"
was presumably founded in Amsterdam in 1924. In Costa's Handels-Vakadresboek van Nederland voor de
Radio-Industrie en den Handel in Radio-Artikelen; 1926-1927 (an
address book for radio manufacturers), the address was Eerste Oosterparkstraat 206.
The radio in my possion shows the address Eerste Oosterparkstraat 198
and the company calls itself Electro Technisch en Radio Bureau.
The telephone number on the makers plate is the same number used
by the afore mentioned address. The picture below was made on September
6, 1992.
Eerste Oosterparkstraat 206 then housed a pub, Café Stein. A
message in the window states that the building will be
demolished soon. |
