Fellows Magneto Co., Ltd.was established
in 1916. The address was Cumberland Avenue, Park Royal,
Willesden, London, N.W. 10.
The first products the company
made were magneto igniters for cars.
The managing director of the
company, D.V.L.Fellows, who was a
radio amateur with the call sign 5CP, was very
interested in radio.
Therefore, in 1922, the company
started manufacturing simple crystal receivers, radio receivers
with valves, amplifiers, speakers, transformers and headphones.
From 1924 the factory also made
radio valves using the brand name Louden.
In 1927 the competition became
too strong and the production of radios and parts stopped.
