| Technisch Bureau W. Bekius was
founded on November 1, 1924 in Zwolle. They started
manufacturing and selling radios in 1922. Production
stopped around 1930, but the shop remained active for a
long time. The address was Waterstraat 117 (on the
corner of Diezerstraat) in
the city of Zwolle. In 1953 the company moved to Emmeloord and sold
radios and televisions. There is still a company with the name Electrotechnisch
Installatiebureau Bekius, Hanselaarmate 78 in Zwolle;
this firm still uses the name of the original founder. |
