Electromagnetic loudspeaker
Made of solid mahogany with cut out ornament and carved ornamental edge. Behind the ornament is a lattice of vertically stretched wires. The back of the speaker cone is covered with pieces of bamboo, and a metal wire spirals from the centre to the periphery of the cone. Behind the cone, a folded cardboard strip with rectangular slots is attached to the outer edge. All these measures provide a significant reduction of resonance and a good bass reproduction.
