Material: mahogany cabinet, front: marbled ebonite. Made around 1926. On top: a Cosmos Amplion AR19 horn loudspeaker (1923).

The radio was made using an number of components: transformers by Ferranti and Radio Instruments, a Dubilier grid-leak resistor/capacitor, a capacitor made by Edison Bell, London, variable condensers by Ormond and tubes by Philips-Mullard and Cossor. The antenna coil is home made.

Lower left: on/off switch, lower right: rheostat. In the middle: coarse tuning. Upper left: Fine tuning, upper right: reaction control.
