Battery charger
Rectifier used for charging 1-3 storage cells. Input voltage 220 volts. Recommended tubes: Philips 451 and 452. In this picture the 328 and 452 tubes are used. Made by N.V. Transformer-Works, Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 40 in Amsterdam. This firm also made the battery eliminator "Transforma".

Assembly room of the Transforma factory, Baarsjesweg 158, Amsterdam in 1927. Later that year the company would move to Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 40. A number of new transformers is visible on the table, behind the workers. Child labour was still common.
